Product Description
The Care Quip X8 Power Lift Pressure Care Chair combines powered lift-and-recline assistance with advanced pressure-redistributing support for users who spend extended periods seated.
Its seating system combines pressure-relieving memory foam, contoured multi-layer foam and a fibre-filled backrest with lumbar support. An integrated air cell within the seat can be adjusted using the concealed hand pump, allowing the level of support to be adapted to the user’s comfort and pressure-management requirements.
The dual-motor mechanism provides independent powered adjustment of the backrest and legrest. This allows the user to elevate their legs while maintaining a more upright backrest or select from a wide range of reclined positions.
A powered lift function raises and tilts the chair forward to assist with transitions between sitting and standing. The padded legrest provides additional lower-leg and heel support, while ergonomic padded armrests provide comfort and a supportive surface during transfers.
The X8 is upholstered using four-way stretch vinyl on the contact surfaces. The material is fluid resistant, vapour permeable, fire retardant, antibacterial and non-allergenic. Removable seat and backrest covers support cleaning and infection-control procedures.
