The Care Quip Glide 3 Wheelchair is a durable, Australian-made self-propelled wheelchair designed for dependable everyday mobility, comfort and long-term use.
Its strengthened folding stainless-steel frame provides reliable support, while the aluminium wheels and snap-lock aluminium cross brace help reduce overall weight and minimise seat-upholstery sag. The chair is fitted with durable vinyl upholstery, making it practical for regular use in hospitals, rehabilitation facilities, aged-care settings and the community.
Swingaway removable legrests, removable armrests and an included calf strap assist with transfers, positioning and lower-leg support. The wider 490 mm and 520 mm models also include a backrest-upholstery tensioner to help reduce sag and maintain seating support.
Available in five seat widths ranging from 400 mm to 520 mm, the Glide 3 Wheelchair allows an appropriate size to be selected for the individual user. Every variant supports a maximum user weight of 100 kg.
