Product Description
The Ornamin Thermo Plate is an assistive dining plate designed to help keep meals warm or cool for longer. Its two-layer thermodynamic design has a fill opening in the outer wall, allowing hot or cold water to be added between the plate layers without coming into direct contact with food.
This design is particularly useful for people who take longer to eat, helping meals remain at a more comfortable temperature while reducing direct contact with hot water. The contrasting red exterior and white eating surface can also make food easier to distinguish for people with cognitive impairment, reduced visual contrast sensitivity or dementia.
Two soft non-slip silicone grip inserts provide a more secure hold and cover the fill openings to help prevent spills. An anti-slip ring underneath helps keep the plate stable on the table during meals. Made from BPA-free polypropylene and melamine, the Ornamin Thermo Plate is suitable for home, aged care, disability support and rehabilitation settings.
