The ProCair® Plus Mattress Replacement System is an advanced alternating pressure air mattress designed for patients at very high risk of pressure injuries. Engineered for hospitals, aged care facilities, disability support, and home healthcare environments, this premium mattress system combines intelligent pressure redistribution technology with superior patient comfort, safety, and clinical performance.
Featuring innovative AutoCair® technology, the system continuously monitors patient weight and automatically adjusts pressure settings in real time to maintain optimal therapeutic support and pressure care. The integrated Fowler Boost mode increases support under the sacral area when the bed backrest is elevated, helping to reduce shear forces and improve comfort during repositioning.
The advanced HeelCair® system provides enhanced heel protection through an independent disconnectable heel zone made up of narrower air cells, offering targeted therapy for vulnerable heels. To prevent “bottoming out,” the alternating air cells incorporate lower safety cells that remain inflated for greater stability and patient protection.
Designed with both patient safety and caregiver convenience in mind, the ProCair® Plus includes an integrated backup battery providing up to 5 hours of emergency power during outages or accidental disconnection. Additional features such as the CairAlert bed exit alarm, enlarged CPR valve, sealed mattress base, and detailed servicing alerts enhance infection control, safety, and ease of maintenance.
