Durable Construction
The Deluxe Up and Over Stairs is a solidly constructed, durable rehab staircase for any facility. The stairs feature a metal steel frame, white melamine sides, and wooden steps that are each carpeted to provide a natural feel and appearance. An aluminium nose tread on the leading edge prevents wear, and a rubberized surface option is available. The adjustable handrail is made of stainless steel and can be moved in 8cm increments to suit the needs of the user. The stairs have three 16cm high risers on one side leading to a platform 48cm above floor level, with 4cm risers on the other side. The dimensions of the stairs are 77cm (W) x 230cm (L) x 150cm (H), and the unit weighs 90kg (120kg on pallet for shipping). Despite its weight, the unit can fit through a standard doorway on its side with handles removed, making it a versatile and practical choice for anyone in need of a sturdy set of stairs.
