The slip-resistant mat, while safe for residents, provides nurses with a timely signal to prevent potential hazards. This alarm is easy to use, with simple instructions for setup: Place the alarm beside the resident's bed, preferably on the side they most often use to exit the bed. Ensure the edge of the non-slip mat is tucked under the bed to prevent tripping and ensure good contact when the resident steps onto it.
The resident should ideally stand close to the center of the mat when rising. Plug the cord into the Nurse Call system and verify the mat's functionality by stepping on it. Regularly clean the Stand Up Alarm according to your floor cleaning protocol. The Stand Up Alarm is compatible with existing nurse call systems, enhancing its usability and integration into healthcare settings. Please note that this equipment requires connection to a Nurse Call Station for operation and is not suitable for residential use.
