Product Overview
The Short Slipper Boots are great for indoor use and can be worn in bed. The boots have a velcro strap and a tongue flap down the length of the top of the boot, allowing the user to ensure a secure fit. The Short Slipper Boots have a soft suede sole, meaning the boot can mould to the individual’s foot to provide optimum comfort. As well as protecting the foot the Short Slipper Boot also protects the bonier prominences of the ankle. If self-transferring we recommend you select a boot with a hard rubber sole. The qualities of the XD (extra density) 1900gsm wool reduce shear and friction as well as wick moisture from sweat and urine away, which all work to prevent skin damage and ulceration. The sheepskin wool also effectively regulates body temperature and can therefore be used in both Summer and Winter.
The Shear Comfort Short Slipped Boot is machine washable with standard household washing detergents (using the Shear Comfort Shampoo & Conditioner is recommended) and can be tumble dried following Shear Comfort instructions. Shear Comfort is warranted to withstand 50 washes at up to 80 degrees Celsius for bacteria eradication. We suggest measuring your foot using the method: With your heels against a wall, measure the inside length of your foot. It can be normal for both feet to have different measurements in length. When choosing a size, please base your shoe size selection on the foot length that is greater. Available in various sizes. Please make a selection from the drop-down menu above when ordering.
