The Molift Nomad Portable Ceiling Hoist is a lightweight overhead lifting system designed for safe, comfortable and flexible patient transfers across multiple rooms. Weighing only 6.8 kg, the portable hoist unit can be moved between compatible ceiling rail systems, making it a practical solution for facilities and homes that require a shared ceiling-hoist system.
Its curved design and integrated four-point suspension create additional headroom and a more spacious lifting position for the user. The Nomad can be used with compatible passive Molift lifting slings to support transfers between beds, wheelchairs, chairs, commodes and other appropriate surfaces.
The Molift Nomad includes integrated carry handles for easier handling, accessible controls through the handset and front display, and a built-in service notification system. Safety features include electronic overload protection, emergency lowering and an emergency stop function.
Available in 205 kg and 255 kg safe working load options, the Molift Nomad must be installed and used as part of a professionally specified ceiling-rail system.
