Product Description

The Decpac Portable Wheelchair Ramp range provides lightweight, strong and compact access solutions for wheelchair, mobility scooter and walking-aid users. Available in Personal, Multipurpose, Senior and Edge Barrier configurations, the range includes multiple lengths for navigating kerbs, steps, entrances, vehicles and other access obstacles.

Each ramp is manufactured from a combination of glass-fibre and carbon-fibre materials, providing dependable strength while remaining easier to handle than many conventional ramps. Its multi-panel construction uses a patented hinge and webbing system, allowing the ramp to fold with a concertina action into a compact unit for transportation and storage.

The non-slip grip-tape surface and protective pads at the top and base help improve traction and stability during use. Personal and Multipurpose models include a convenient carry bag, while Edge Barrier models feature raised sides that provide additional wheel guidance and security.

All Decpac ramp variants support a maximum combined load of 300 kg. The appropriate ramp type and length should be selected according to the obstacle height, mobility device, user abilities and intended environment.

Important Selection Information

The supplier-published maximum height is a product limit and does not confirm that the resulting ramp gradient will be suitable for every user, wheelchair, mobility scooter or location.

Ramp suitability should be assessed according to:

  • The user’s mobility and functional abilities
  • The combined weight of the user and mobility device
  • The type and dimensions of the mobility device
  • The height of the obstacle
  • The available installation space
  • The required ramp gradient
  • The intended indoor or outdoor environment

Professional assessment is recommended where the ramp will be used regularly, across a significant height or with a powered mobility device.
