Product Overview
Oval-8 Splints
These finger splints are a simple and cost-effective solution to numerous conditions. They are nearly invisible while stabilising the DIP and PIP joints without inhibiting finger and hand function. The moulded plastic splints have broad bands and rounded edges for comfort during daily activities. They are made of non-latex material and waterproof for wear when washing hands, showering, or swimming.
For Treating Finger Conditions
Can be used to correct lateral deviation, swan-neck deformity, and flexible boutonniere deformity. The splints also support mallet finger injury and help prevent trigger fingers. The Oval-8 Splints are designed to position the finger in up to 20° of flexion of hypertension. When two ring splints are used the PIP and DIP joints are fully immobilised for resting them and preventing unwanted motion.
Sizing
Getting the right size is important to an effective recovery. Each Oval-8 Splint can be rotated 180° to increase the fit by a half size. This allows a perfect fit for swollen fingers that change in size due to temperature or time of day. Not sure what size you need? Check out the Oval-8 Sizing Kit!
