Product Description
The Care Quip Allegro Salsa 200 Standing Hoist is a compact, electrically operated sit-to-stand transfer aid designed to assist users who can partially bear weight when moving from a seated position into supported standing.
With a 200 kg safe working load, the Salsa combines strong lifting performance with a compact and manoeuvrable frame suitable for home care, aged care facilities, rehabilitation centres, hospitals, and supported living environments.
Electric base-width adjustment allows caregivers to widen or narrow the legs for easier access around wheelchairs, beds, and furniture. The adjustable knee support and removable footplate help stabilise and position the user during transfers, while the wide lifting range supports transfers from a variety of seated surfaces.
The Salsa should be used with a compatible Allegro standing sling selected following an appropriate clinical assessment. It is intended for users with some weight-bearing ability and is not suitable for non-weight-bearing patients. The hoist has been designed and tested to comply with AS ISO 10535 requirements for patient-transfer hoists.
