Product Overview
With two different colour options, the cushion offers a range of pockets, zippers and different types of materials that can be touched or stroked. It is designed to provide a spectrum of sensory experiences visual, tactile, and audible that helps stimulate the senses and occupy the hands. These BetterLiving® Sensory Cushions are often used to manage agitation and help to calm and soothe a person who may get anxious and call out. It also works as a distraction tool to focus the person on an enjoyable and familiar activity.
The cushion consists of a range of different materials all designed to stimulate the sense of touch, using bright contrasting colours for visual stimulation. Made from a combination of polycotton, antipill polar fleece, crushed velvet, velour velvet, faux fur and shaggy plush mink for a range of tactile sensations under the fingertips. The inner cover is made from 100% eco-friendly recycled drink bottles. The cover is easy to remove and machine washable. Choose the desired colour from the menu when making an enquiry to purchase.
