The Care Quip Breezy BasiX Transit Wheelchair is a lightweight, attendant-propelled wheelchair designed to deliver adjustable comfort, reliable support and convenient everyday mobility.
Its folding aluminium frame and folding backrest help reduce the wheelchair’s size for transportation and storage. The adjustable seat depth, seat height, backrest height, push handles and footplate angle allow the chair to be configured to suit different users and positioning requirements.
Swingaway removable legrests provide clear access during transfers, while swingback removable armrests allow the user to move closer to tables and other surfaces. Breathable padded nylon upholstery and a tension-adjustable backrest offer comfortable seating support.
Anti-tip bars and rollers enhance stability, while heel straps, solid tyres and vehicle tie-down points provide additional safety and practicality. Available in four seat widths ranging from 380 mm to 520 mm, the Breezy BasiX Transit Wheelchair is suitable for home, community, rehabilitation and healthcare environments.
