Unique Design Aids In Rehabilitation
Designed for plantar flexion contractures, pressure-free positioning and prevention or healing of decubital ulcers on the heel and malleoli. Lightweight, cool and soothing to irritated skin. Nylon ripstop with soft, cradling insulation and antibacterial lining. Cradle alleviates pressure to the heels and malleoli. Anti-rotation bar keeps the foot at a 90 degree angle while the patient rests in bed. Strategically placed bead pockets stimulate blood circulation. Hook and loop fasteners allow for secure and expedient application. Sizes based on US shoe size.
Indications
Prevention and healing of decubital ulcers on the heel and malleoli; prevention of bed-linen abrasions; medial or lateral rotations of the lower extremities and unwanted hip positioning; plantar flexion contractures (Achilles’ contractures).
