The Care Quip Glide One Arm Drive Wheelchair is a specialised self-propelled wheelchair designed for users who require wheelchair propulsion using one arm.
Its dual-pushrim drive system can be positioned on either the left or right side, allowing the wheelchair to be configured around the user’s functional arm. This makes it suitable for people with one-sided weakness or reduced function in one upper limb.
The durable folding stainless-steel frame is designed for long-term use while allowing the wheelchair to fold for transportation and storage. Swingaway removable legrests and removable armrests support easier transfers, positioning and storage, while the removable calf strap provides additional lower-leg support.
Hard-wearing vinyl upholstery makes the chair practical for regular use in homes, rehabilitation facilities, hospitals and supported-care environments.
Available in 400 mm, 430 mm and 460 mm seat widths, with left- and right-side drive options for every size, the Glide One Arm Drive Wheelchair supports users weighing up to 100 kg.
