Product Description
The CuroCell A4 CX10 is a fully automatic dynamic pressure-care mattress overlay designed to improve pressure redistribution, comfort, and skin protection for users with complex care needs.
Unlike a full mattress replacement, the CX10 is a 100 mm overlay system intended to be placed on top of a suitable existing mattress. Its intelligent control unit uses high-precision sensors to identify the user’s position and support requirements, then automatically adjusts the internal air pressure without requiring manual weight settings.
The system offers Pulsating, Alternating, and Constant Low Pressure modes, allowing caregivers to tailor therapy and comfort to the individual. The Pulsating Mode provides gentle pressure changes intended to support effective pressure redistribution while minimising unnecessary movement and disturbance.
The CuroCell A4 CX10 also includes individually replaceable cells, a static head section, integrated heel support, CPR and transport functions, and a Max Firm care mode for repositioning and nursing procedures. Its four-way-stretch hygienic cover is vapour permeable and fluid resistant, helping reduce shear and maintain a comfortable microclimate.
Available in Single and King Single, the Care Quip models support users up to 200 kg and are suitable for hospitals, aged care, rehabilitation, supported accommodation, and home-care environments. The manufacturer identifies the CX10 as a 10 cm dynamic overlay intended to assist with the prevention and treatment of pressure injuries up to Category 4.
