The Care Quip CuroCell AREA Zone is a premium non-powered, self-adjusting pressure care mattress replacement system designed to assist in the prevention and treatment of pressure injuries up to and including Category 3. It combines interconnected air chambers with multiple layers of high-resilience foam to deliver exceptional comfort, pressure redistribution, and stability—without requiring an electric pump.
The mattress features nine interconnected air cells arranged in pressure-relief zones that automatically adapt to the user's body shape and movement. This self-adjusting technology provides continuous pressure redistribution while helping reduce shear forces and improving overall comfort.
An integrated heel-relief zone helps minimise pressure on vulnerable heel areas, while reinforced side supports improve lateral stability during transfers. The four-way stretch hygienic cover is vapour permeable, fluid resistant, machine washable up to 95°C, and designed to reduce moisture and friction for enhanced skin protection.
With a 230 kg maximum user weight, the CuroCell AREA Zone is ideal for hospitals, aged care facilities, rehabilitation centres, disability services, and home care.
