Product Description
The Immedia Patient Transfer Mattress is a soft, padded transfer aid designed to support smoother and more comfortable horizontal transfers between two adjoining supine surfaces. It assists carers when transferring a person between a bed, shower trolley, stretcher, examination surface or X-ray table, while helping reduce friction beneath the user during movement.
Made from a padded cotton, polyester and nylon construction, the Transfer Mattress provides a more comfortable surface for the person being moved and supports safer manual-handling routines for carers. It can also assist with turning a person in bed from a face-up to face-down position where appropriate.
Available in Narrow and Wide sizes, the Immedia Patient Transfer Mattress can be selected to suit different user needs and care settings. It can be used with a separately available waterproof nylon cover or disposable cover for additional hygiene protection and easier maintenance.
Important: The mattress must only be used where the two transfer surfaces meet without a gap.
