The Immedia SatinSheet 2D Two Direction Base Sheet with Corner Straps is an in-bed positioning sheet designed to support smoother side-to-side movement and easier turning for people with reduced mobility. Its central low-friction satin panel helps minimise friction between the user and bedding, supporting more comfortable repositioning while helping reduce manual-handling strain for carers.
The sheet is fitted directly to the mattress using elastic corner straps, making it especially practical for thicker mattresses and pressure-relieving mattress systems. Cotton and polyester side sections create a higher-friction surface at the bed edges, helping reduce the risk of the user sliding out of bed and allowing safer sitting on the edge of the mattress.
Available in Maxi, Wide and Double sizes, the Immedia SatinSheet 2D Base Sheet is suitable for home care, aged care, rehabilitation, disability support and clinical environments. It can be used independently for users who can assist with repositioning or combined with compatible Immedia SatinSheet draw sheets where additional carer assistance is required.
