Product Description
The Patient Handling Chair Pad Alarm is a seated monitoring device designed to notify caregivers when a person rises from a chair. The pressure-sensitive padded chair pad connects to an alarm box, providing an alert when pressure is removed from the pad.
It can be used as a stand-alone system because the alarm box and mains-powered 6 V DC adaptor are included. It may also be connected to a compatible existing nurse call system where required. Adjustable delay settings help reduce nuisance alarms when the user is repositioning in the chair, while tone, volume and mute settings allow the alert method to be tailored to the care environment.
