Product Overview
The XD 1900 gsm wool pad provides gentle support, cushioning and airflow. Wool takes up to 30% of its weight in water vapour without feeling moist. The air trapped between the wool fibres allows heat and moisture to dissipate which minimises skin damage and ulceration. The Shear Comfort Arm Support Protectors provide added comfort to wheelchair arm supports, whether they are made from plastic, vinyl, or leather. The Arm Support Protectors are ideal for office chair or wheelchair users who use the arm supports to support their body weight on one side or another.
Shear Comfort Calf and Foot Plate Protectors are used on the footplates of a wheelchair which can be hard and unforgiving on the skin. The soft wool, which is made from a high-density weave, gives a soft comfortable feel to the skin. Elastic straps hold the pads in place. Shear Comfort is warranted to withstand 50 washes at up to 80 degrees Celsius for bacteria eradication. Please make a selection from the drop down menu when making an enquiry to purchase.
