Product Description
The SMIK Shower Commode with Sliding Footplate – 550 mm is a heavy-duty mobile shower and toileting chair designed for users who require additional seating width, stable transfer support, and dependable performance in wet environments.
The 550 mm-wide padded seamless commode seat provides generous seating space and is easier to clean because it contains no seams that can trap moisture or contaminants. The chair can be positioned over most compatible toilets and includes a pan carrier, allowing it to support both showering and toileting routines.
Swing-back arms assist with side transfers and include patient-operated locking mechanisms for added security. The textured, weight-bearing footplate slides beneath the chair when not required, improving access during transfers. A durable stainless-steel frame, PVC slatted backrest, and four Tente castors provide corrosion resistance, drainage, manoeuvrability, and controlled positioning.
